The Mighty Goji Berry

Hey Everyone! 

Have you ever walked down the aisle of Whole Foods or your local health food store and seen Goji Berry Juice or supplement powders made with Goji Berries and wondered...  What is that?  Well I'm here to share with you!

Let's start with a little background on this little fruit...  Goji Berries, which are also known as Wolfberries come from a woody plant found mainly in China and the Himalayan Regions. Goji berry juice is the most popular form of goji berries (remember Whole Foods?), and have been known for thousands of years to be beneficial to ones health in China.  But why?

Goji berries are extremely popular for its anti-aging properties and is known as the most powerful food for anti-aging. The antioxidants, fatty acids, vitamins and minerals that it contains makes it very beneficial in slowing down the aging process. It is also known to be effective in preventing macular degeneration that can be caused due to the process of aging.  Because they are high in Vitamin C, they are an amazing immune booster.  Goji Berries are high in polysaccharides making it beneficial in the regulation of blood sugar and blood pressure -- and because of the Germanium in Goji Berries, its the go to berry for it's anti-cancer properties!
